一、水利行业图书馆的现况 水利行业办图书馆是有历史传统的。近年来,为了适应水利改革与发展的需要,各类图书馆的规模在逐渐扩大,功能在不断扩展,作用和贡献也越来越大。目前水利行业图书馆基本情况是:院校的图书馆办得好,图书馆的编制、资金有保证,图书馆的作用发挥较大。如华北水电学院图书馆,该馆工作由主管教学的副院长直接抓,去年经费50万元,图书管理已实现了自动化,图书使用率高。水利部机关图书馆,由于领导对图书馆建设的重视,投入已由1996年每年几万元增加到现在的十几万元,藏书近10万册,实现了计算机管理。流域机构图书馆发展不一,有的搞得不错,有的几乎就没有图书馆。
