纪念中国物理学会成立五十周年暨第三届全国会员代表大会于1982年12月20日至25日在北京隆重举行。来自全国各省市、自治区以及各分科学会(专业委员会)的三百余名代表(包括列席代表)参加了会议。他们当中有中国物理学会的创始人和我国老一辈的著名物理学家,也有很多是新中国成立以后成长起来的中青年物理学工作者,他们代表着我国广大物理学工作者,在物理学的各个分支领域,为我国物理学事业的发展作出了重要的贡献。这次大会,领导重视、团结紧张、学术气氛浓厚,是我国物理学界的一次空前的盛会。会议还收到著名物理学家李政道、任之恭教授发来的贺电以及一些省物理学会发来的贺信。会议开始,由前任中国物理学会理事长周培源同志代表第二届理事会作了中国物理学会第二届全国会员
Commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Founding of the Chinese Society of Physics and the Third National Congress of Congresses were held in Beijing from December 20 to 25, 1982. Over 300 delegates (including delegates) from various provinces, cities, autonomous regions and sub-societies (professional committees) attended the conference. Among them are the founders of the Chinese Physical Society and the famous physicists of the older generation in our country. Many of them are young and middle-aged physicists who grew up after the founding of new China. They represent the majority of our country’s physicists, In various branches of the field, made an important contribution to the development of our country’s physics. At this conference, leaders attach great importance to unity and tension and a strong academic atmosphere is an unprecedented event for our physics community. The meeting also received the famous physicist Li Zhengdao, Professor Ren Zhi Gong sent a message of congratulation and some provincial physics sent congratulatory letter.
