According to the statistics of the PLA’s infectious disease report, the occurrence and development trends and characteristics of the PLA infectious diseases over the past 40 years have been analyzed. From 1951 to 1991, the incidence rate of infectious diseases in the entire army was significantly reduced. In particular, the decline in zoonotic diseases was even more pronounced. The number of infectious diseases dropped from the first place in the early 1950s to the third place in the 1990s. In 1992-1994 The average annual incidence rate of infectious disease reports in the armed forces is 3.79 ‰. Its main features are the concentration of disease-causing diseases, the number of infectious diseases of intestinal diseases ranks first in the world, and the incidence of dysentery is the main reason that affects the peak of summer and autumn of infectious diseases. , Tuberculosis, renal syndrome hemorrhagic fever and other diseases have an increasing trend. In view of the existing problems, the following suggestions are made for the control measures against infectious diseases in the army: (1) Correctly understand the situation facing the control of infectious diseases in the armed forces and strengthen the organizational leadership over the control of infectious diseases; (2) Focus on controlling the occurrence of intestinal infectious diseases, (3) Improve the surveillance system for military infectious diseases and pay close attention to emerging communicable diseases and their influencing factors; (4) Make active application of basic research to solve some key problems in the control of infectious diseases (5) Establish a strong contingent of prevention and treatment of communicable diseases and improve the skills of professional and technical personnel.
