国际通信卫星组织列为重大科技项目的“C波段800 MHz带宽频率复用馈源系统”已被中国科技人员攻克,并成功地投入使用.这使中国成为世界上第一个掌握800MHz带宽馈源技术的国家.“波段80oMHz带宽馈源系统”是第8代通信卫星天线中的一个关键技术难题.从1993年起,国际通信卫星组织为满足当今人类日益增长的通信业的需要,在频率资源日趋紧张的情况下,决定将第8代卫星及其以后的卫星通信频率带宽在接收和发射两个频段内均扩展到800MHz,由此对卫星测控站和通信地球站都带来了许多高技术难题.
