新《大学英语教学指南》对我国高等院校非英语专业本科生的英语实践应用能力提出了新的要求。明确提出:各高校开设大学英语课程,一方面是满足国家战略需要,为国家改革开放和经济社会发展服务。另一方面,是满足学生专业学习,国际交流,继续深造,工作就业等方面的需要。作为政法类院校,从学生个人需求和社会需求的角度出发,在遵循语言教学规律的情况下,制定符合学校实际办学需求的大学英语教学目标与课程体系对提高大学英语整体教学质量具有重要意义。
The new Guide to College English Teaching puts forward new requirements on the practical ability of non-English major undergraduates in English practice. Clearly proposed: colleges and universities to set up college English courses, on the one hand to meet the needs of national strategy for the country’s reform and opening up and economic and social development services. On the other hand, it is to meet the needs of student professional study, international exchange, further study, employment and so on.
