随着我国经济的日益发展,对外开放的实施和教育“三个面向”的要求,成人外语教学就显得十分重要和迫切。而目前成人外语教学步伐艰难,徘徊不前,远远满足不了形势发展的需要,其原因主要是生搬硬套普通学校外语教材和教学法,围绕普通学校的模式转,结果改革进展缓慢,创新步伐不大,教学效果欠佳。要改变此状况唯有摆脱普通学校的外语教学模式,按成人外语教学的特点、任务和学生的现状,采用一套行之有效的教学法,走自己的路。
