Correctly evaluating the social role of forests is of great significance for the rational protection, expansion and utilization of forest resources. The social role of forests refers to the impact of forests on socio-economic development. The same area in different historical periods, or in the same period natural environment and socio-economic conditions in different regions, the impact of forests on social and economic development is not the same. To correctly evaluate the social role of forests, we must conduct quantitative research on the extent of such impacts.
