It has been suggested that the high incidence of liver cancer may be associated with persistent infection of hepatitis B virus (HBV) in infancy. To this end, we conducted a longitudinal 2-year follow-up of children aged 0-3 years with high incidence of HCC from November 1981 to November 1983. In 1983, a cross-sectional survey of HBV infection markers was performed in children aged 0-9 years in high incidence areas and low incidence areas of hepatocellular carcinoma to study the prevalence of childhood hepatitis B virus infection and the relationship with hepatocellular carcinoma in these areas. Materials and Methods 1.Objectives (1) To select 381 infants of 5 to 41 months of age who were followed up for one year in Longan County, with an average annual mortality rate of 52.0 / 100000 from 1969 to 1983, including 222 Children 2 years of follow-up observation. Investigate and collect blood after first, half, one and two years respectively.
