建构主义提倡在教师指导下,以学习者为中心,既强调学习者的认知主体作用,又不忽视教师的指导作用,教师是意义建构的帮助者、促进者,而不是知识的传授者与灌输者。协作知识建构在此基础上指出了学习者参与个体之间的交流、沟通以及合作的协作效应,而自我决定理论则界定了不同学生学习英语的内部动机。写作本身是一个严肃的学习过程,再加上大学英语这个限定,对学生而言,课堂教学就显得非常无趣。两种理论的结合为改善大学英语写作课堂的教学效率提供了理论依据。

The combination of the two theories provides a theoretical basis for improving the teaching efficiency in college English writing classroom.
