５月１０日至１１日，民盟省委组织盟内专家、教授一行１１人组成参政议政调研组，专程到宜宾就宜宾市的教育事业、旅游开发、民营经济及民盟机关建设进行专题调研。调研组此行的主要目的是调查、了解宜宾市在参与西部大开发中存在的困难和问题，为省委、省政府提供决策参考。
