由万年县农科所用[(农选1号×虹糯)×竹莲矮]F_A为母本,恢复系6185为父本,进行有性杂交,经五年六代选育而成的“101”新品种,于1985、1986两年通过省区试验鉴定,产量达到对照品种M112水平,稻米品质先后三次在全省优质稻评议会上,评为优质稻品种,1987年元月又经“江西省优质稻评比会”复评,确定“101”为受奖品种之一。
