1998年5月底,朋友小李、小张想跟 我学登山。因为他们没有去过西部,更没见过真正的雪山。所以,我选择了昆仑山。昆仑山横跨新疆、西藏和青海三省,位于青藏高原北端,是第一台阶与第二台阶的界山。对初学登山者来说,东昆仑山是个极好的天然大教室,它的高度也是初学者容易适应的,各山峰的海拔高度在5300米至6178米之间。登山时可能遇到的各种地形在这里几乎都可以找到。
