《生物学中的机会》(Opportunities in Biology)是美国国家研究委员会(National Resea－rch Council,以下简称 NRC)于1985年开始、1989年完成的一份调查研究报告,同年公开出版。为了使我国生物科学工作者,大学有关教师、学生,农、医、环境等方面的科技人员,以及各级有关决策机关的领导和管理工作者能及早读到此书,中国科学院生物科学与技术局联合上海文献情报中心邀请了京沪两地中国科学院有关生物学研究的20几位科学家,对该书进行了翻译,以节译本形式由《生物科学信息》编辑部(上海)于1990年年底出版发行。
Opportunities in Biology is a survey conducted by the National Research Council (NRC) in 1985 and completed in 1989 and published in the same year. In order to enable our biologists, university scientists and technicians in the fields of teachers, students, agriculture, medicine and the environment, as well as leaders and management workers at relevant decision-making organs at all levels to read this book as early as possible, the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Bioscience and Technology The Bureau jointly with the Shanghai Documentation and Information Center invited 20 scientists from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing and Shanghai to conduct research on biology and translated the book in the form of a transliteration by the Editorial Department of Biological Sciences at the end of 1990 Publication.
