This paper analyzes and combs the historical background and context of printmaking development in Sichuan and Chongqing, points out the development of objective history and the influence of Chinese special political background on the development of printmaking in Sichuan and Chongqing areas, and puts forward new thinking on the development of printmaking in Sichuan and Chongqing in the contemporary context .
