冻鸡是我国年出口创汇5亿多美元的较大宗农副产品,现在国家税务总局已将其作为深加工、高附加值产品调整了出口退税率,在13％的退税率内享受征多少退多少的足额退税。但目前肉鸡饲养、加工和冻鸡出口业尚未走出低谷,仍面临极大困难,许多中小养鸡厂关闭、停产,肉鸡加工和冻鸡出口企业也举步维艰。造成肉鸡饲养加工和冻鸡出口困境的原因主要是:
