核苷转运是指细胞外的核苷通过细胞膜进入细胞。转运是细胞利用外源性核苷的第一步,抑制核苷转运将导致抑制核苷的摄取和掺入。已报道的核苷转运抑制剂有潘生丁(Dipyridamole)、硝基苄基硫代肌苷(Nitro-benzylthioinosine,简称NBMPR)等。核苷转运抑制剂有可能增强抗代谢物的抗肿瘤作用。抗肿瘤抗生素Acivicin是抑制嘌呤和嘧啶合成的抗代谢物,在培养液中加入鸟苷、胞苷和脱氧胞苷,Acivicin对肿瘤细胞的抑制作用在很大程度上被抵消;如同时加入潘生丁,则减少核苷的抵消作用,从而保持了
