十月四日上午,中國科學院聯絡局、中央文化部科學普及局、中華全國自然科學專門學会聯合会、中華全國科學技術普及協會四單位在中國科學院聯合招待劳模代表,並举行座談会;到会有勞模代表陳典衡、王日才、宋世發、張德庆、潘长有、劉启宇、張树義、張志全、高萬紅、刘聚寶、李庆萱等十一人,和各該科學机关团体的首長,在京的‘科聯’和‘科普’全國委員,中國科學院近代物理、应用物理、植物分類等研究所的研究工作人員計約二百餘人。会中首由科學普及局袁翰青局長作介紹報告,继由中國科學院陶孟和副院長(兼聯絡局局長)致歡
On the morning of October 4, four liaisons including Liaison Bureau of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Science Popularization Department of the Central Ministry of Culture, All-China Federation of Natural Science Societies and All-China Science and Technology Popularization Association entertained model workers and held symposiums at the Chinese Academy of Sciences; There will be 11 model workers representing model workers Chen Diaheng, Wang Ricai, Song Shifa, Zhang Deqing, Pan Changyou, Liu Qiyu, Zhang Shuyi, Zhang Zhiguan, Gao Wanhong, Liu Jubao and Li Qingxuan, heads of various scientific bodies and groups, National Committee members, Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of modern physics, applied physics, plant classification research staff of about 200 people. In the first meeting, Secretary for Science Popularization Yuan Hanqing made a presentation, followed by Tao Menghe, vice president of Chinese Academy of Sciences (and Liaison Bureau chief)
