In this paper, the laser-induced reactions of F 12 (+) NO at different partial pressures of F 12 and NO irradiated by CW CO 2 laser were studied. The products were identified as CF_3Cl (F_ (13)), C_2F_4Cl_2 (F_ (114)), Cl_2, CF_2O and NOCl from the infrared spectra and gas chromatographic analysis before and after the reaction. When the pressure of F 12 + NO is constant, its decomposition is proportional to the power of the incident laser. When NO pressure is constant, its decomposition is proportional to the pressure of F 12.
