在当代世界最先进的战斗机系列中,影响最大、知名度最高的恐怕要属美国生产的F系列战机和由前苏联研制俄罗斯继承生产的苏系列战机了。其中F—14、F—15、F—16、F—20、F—22已是享誉世界的优秀机种,而近几年来才揭开面纱的苏—27、苏—30、苏—33、苏—35新型战机,其优越的缠斗性能更令人赞叹不已。
