空间生产理论是列斐伏尔的代表思想,他在前人对空间的思想理论的基础上阐述了自己对空间进一步的理解,并在自然空间和精神空间外,全面阐述了社会空间理论,提出了空间生产的伟大构思。列斐伏尔强调空间是社会的产物,并由此揭露了资本主义在发展过程中的空间生产以及资本主义空间生产对整个人类社会的危害。最后,列斐伏尔从全球化空间,都市化空间和日常生活化空间三个层次对资本主义空间生产进行了批判。
