Polyethylene oxide with sulfadiazine and hydroxyl end groups (PEOsf) were prepared by anion ring-opening polymerization of ethylene oxide initiated by sodium 4-amino-N-(2-pyrimidinyl)benzene sulfonamide (SF-Na). The product was characterized in detail by
