悬篮(hanging basket)是将一种或多种草花种在一个编好的篮内,悬挂在室内外,利用盛开的花朵及配植的叶片装饰环境的园艺栽培形式。90年代初在欧美的花市上出现以后,购买的人愈来愈多,十分红火。97年夏笔者去英国访问,路过几个英格兰小城,更觉得悬篮已经无处不在,形成“家家户户垂彩卉,街头巷尾悬花篮”的景象,很有生气(见彩页及本页照片)。
Hanging basket is a type of horticultural plant that uses one or more grass flowers in a woven basket, hanging indoors and outdoors, and using the blossoming flowers and leaves to decorate the environment. In the early 90s appeared in the flower market in Europe and the United States, more and more people to buy, very prosperous. In the summer of 1997, when the author visited Britain, passing through a few small England towns, he even felt that the dangling basket was everywhere, forming a scene of “every household hanging flowers and hanging baskets at streets and lanes” (see the color pages and this page of photos).
