木村伊兵卫,二十世纪日本最为知名的摄影家之一,他爱用徕卡相机,被尊称为日本的徕卡之神。他觉得自己的摄影是报道摄影,内容却涉及秋田县、女人和风景……他敬重布列松,“摄影是精妙之物”这句话常被他挂在嘴上。1974年木村过世,朝日新闻社为纪念他对日本摄影界的巨大贡献,以他的名字设立了木村伊兵卫摄影奖,以表彰和鼓励年轻摄影家的艺术创作,旨在挖掘出色的日本新生代摄影师。随着摄影术的发展和变革,有着“摄影界的芥川奖”
Kimura Ichi-wei, one of Japan’s most famous photographers in the twentieth century, loved the Leica camera and was revered as Japan’s Leica deity. He thinks his photography is about photography, but it’s about Akita, women, and scenery ... He respected Bresson and the phrase “photography is a subtlety” was often put on his lips.
