平面设计(graphic design)是以“视觉”为表现形式。利用多种方式、方法并结合符号、文字、图像等元素传达意念或讯息的视觉行为。作为现代教育设计教学的平面设计专业教学过程中,在注重教学表现方式方法的同时,更需在设计教学的过程中注重设计过程的培养与思维训练,拓展学生的创造性思维,注重设计思维(设计意念)的过程,掌握理性与感性相结合的设计方法。“将听觉、味觉和心情进行视觉化表现”达到提高教学效果与提升学生设计能力及教学与市场相结合等目的。
