近10年来,胤祯及其《抚远大将军王奏档》一书已引起清史界的广泛重视。胤祯为清圣祖玄烨之第十四子,康熙晚年,深得乃父宠信,故有抚远大将军之特命。皇太子胤礽一废再废,诸皇子党夺嫡之争日烈。圣祖之命胤祯远出及久留西宁,岂亦有如诸葛亮为刘琦谋,所谓“申生在内而危,重耳在外而安”者耶?圣祖溘逝,皇四子胤禛继位,胤祯改名允(?),幽禁终身。胤祯西征一段史实几被湮灭,官书、上谕及《实录》改而又改,删除殆尽。迄今仅存的满文原抄本《抚远大将军王奏档》,不分卷,20册,为胤祯西征在外时亲笔上奏乃父圣祖玄烨之原档。墨迹幸留,铁证如山,其重要性可想而知。40余年前,拙撰《胤祯西征纪实》一文,曾牵涉及之,今又草成此文,庶几
