Choroid is one of the most abundant blood circulation in the body, its blood flow per unit tissue for the retina 20 times, accounting for 85% of the entire eye blood flow. Under normal conditions, the choroid supplies blood to the outer retina and the macula. Due to the common anatomical basis of blood supply to the choroid and the anterior optic nerve, there is a predominantly ciliary cycle. Choroidal ischemia is often associated with an ischemic change in the anterior optic nerve, and evidence of choroidal ischemia is also frequently seen in patients with anterior ischemic optic neuropathy. We cut off the rabbit eye partial posterior ciliary artery (SPCA) causing choroidal and anterior optic nerve ischemia. To ciliary circulatory disorders caused by blood disorders were observed to explore the relationship between choroidal ischemia and anterior ischemic optic neuropathy.
