初中语文教材六册共选古文二十九篇(不包括古典白话小说如《水浒传》、《儒林外史》以及今人所作旧体诗词),约占全部课文的五分之一。给初中学生讲授古文的目的是什么?这个问题值得研究和探讨。如果单纯从对学生进行思想教育,使学生认识我国古代封建社会的特点这一角度考虑,我们认为,讲授这些文章的作用不大。事实上,就所选的初中语文教材的文言文篇目来看,从先秦诸子的寓言故事,到唐人的绝句,并没有反映
The junior middle school Chinese textbooks have a total of 29 ancient Chinese essays (excluding classic vernacular novels such as the Outlaws of the Marsh, the History of the Scholars, and the old-fashioned poems of today), which account for about one-fifth of all the texts. What is the purpose of teaching ancient Chinese to junior high school students? This issue is worth studying and discussing. If we simply consider ideological education for students and enable students to understand the characteristics of ancient feudal society in China, we believe that the teaching of these articles has little effect. In fact, according to the classical Chinese textbooks for junior high school textbooks, the fables of the pre-Qin scholars did not reflect the fables of the Tang dynasty.
