由于欧盟木材法规(EU TimberRegulation,EUTR),欧盟与中国的木材进口贸易已经出现显著变化。该条例草案将于2013年3月3日实施。大多数报告都涉及到胶合板,普遍预计这是环保团体的目的,希望通过鼓励早期的起诉案件以提高对欧盟木材法规(EUTR)的认识。根据欧盟木材法规(EUTR),如果发现进口商的木材来自非法渠道,他们负有个人责任,并将受到可能的严厉制裁。
Due to the EU Timber Regulation (EUTR), significant changes have taken place in the timber import trade between the EU and China. The bill will come into force on March 3, 2013. Most reports deal with plywood, which is widely expected to be the environmental group’s aim to increase awareness of the EUTR by encouraging early prosecutions. According to the EUTR, importers are personally responsible for discovering timber from illegal sources and are subject to possible harsh sanctions.
