为了解决在光学器件研发生产过程中对光纤长度精确测定的难题,成功自主研制了一种生产线量产模式用毫米级精度光纤长度测试仪。该测试仪根据白光的时间相干性原理,采用通用的器件,利用光纤时延和长度之间的对应关系,实现了两根光纤长度差的精确测量。采用光纤截断法对该测试仪进行了测试精度验证,验证结果显示该测试仪对光纤长度的测量精度达到毫米级。该测试仪的测试方式为单端测量,使用方式简便,操作界面简洁明了,能较好地满足科研、生产、系统调试等需要。
In order to solve the problem of accurately measuring the length of optical fiber in the optical device R & D and production process, a millimeter-precision optical fiber length tester for mass production mode has been successfully developed. According to the principle of time coherence of white light, the tester uses common devices and utilizes the correspondence between fiber delay and length to realize the accurate measurement of the difference between two optical fiber lengths. The optical fiber truncation method was used to verify the accuracy of the tester. The verification results show that the tester can accurately measure the length of optical fiber to the millimeter level. The tester test method for single-ended measurement, the use of simple, user-friendly interface, can better meet the needs of scientific research, production, system commissioning.
