锦葵科植物木槿(Hibiscus syriacus)广泛分布于东南亚,其根皮在东方用作解热剂、驱肠(蠕)虫剂及抗真菌剂。作者从其根皮的氯仿提取物中分得2个有生物活性的五环三萜烯咖啡酸酯。
Hibiscus syriacus (Hibiscus syriacus) is widely distributed in Southeast Asia. Its root bark is used as an antipyretic agent, an intestine (creating) insecticide and an antifungal agent in the east. The authors isolated two biologically active pentacyclic triterpene caffeates from the chloroform extract of their root bark.
