Since its bloom in Sui and Tang Dynasty， landscape painting was a pure aesthetic activity cutting off from vanity and fame. It was the externalization of the gratitude from the painter on the grand beauty of the sky and the earth， and also the presentation of the painter’s spirit and artistic pursuit. Zhang Hailong is an outstanding young painter good at landscape paintings. He has systematic training in art and studied in various professional fine art academies. He is also a diligent man. By combining the nature with spirits higher than nature， he created an inclusive art context containing mountains， deep gorges， falls， and rivers.
林語堂在论中国画时精辟地阐述：“中国艺术的冲动源于山水。”山水画自隋唐勃发兴起，就是一种非功利的纯美活动，是画家对“天地大美”之恩、之情、之意的外化，是精神与艺术价值的体现。而今，文化日益多元、艺术表现和手法不断多样，但山水画家以山水之形、求山水之魂歌咏仁山智水的理想情怀始终没有改变。
张君海龙，一位优秀的青年山水画家，有系统的教育经历并进入多个专业美院深造，国画技艺同步推进。他在题材方向上，结合个性情性主攻山水画。曾因寄情于书法，书画本同源，故所作山水，触毫而生，得心应手，线条灵动，墨色交叠，铺陈有序，令欣赏者赞叹陶醉。美学家宗白华先生说：“意境是艺术家的独创，是从他最深的“心源”和“造化”接触时突然的领悟和震动中诞生的”。
中国画非常注重“意”和“境”，尤其强调其审美形式中文化内涵的注入，并用笔墨形式加以表现。张君海龙是聪颖勤奋的，所作山水源于自然又高于自然。在多年的山水写生与创作实践中，已胸容自然万象，在层峦叠嶂、幽谷深崖、瀑泉云溪，草木关情间流淌无限幽远的“心源”。在读海龙山水画时，所体悟到的是“外师造化、中得心源”，“诗中有画、画中有诗”的深远意境，这也是中国山水画的至高审美标准。
随着时代的发展、生活节奏的加快，中国画的发展也进入了当代多元化语境中。笔墨当随时代，如何在继承中发展找到自我的方向定位，确立个性风格，至关重要。张君海龙正当有成之年，耐得寂寞，伏久者飞必高，我们期待着海龙接下来的升华与超越。
