~(125)Ⅰ粒子直径为0.8mm,能量为27.4~35.4keV(平均31.4 keV).放射活度范围0.1~1.0mCi.组织间放射直径为1.7cm,半衰期为59.6d.能持续低剂量地释放γ射线,使肿瘤组织接受最大量的持续照射,而肿瘤周围正常组织的损伤却很小。文献报道粒子植入术治疗肿瘤局部控制率较高、并发症发生率低,可以提高肿瘤患者的生存率和生活质量。~(125)Ⅰ粒子用于肿瘤患者的治疗效果已得到临床证实,并有大量的研究性报道。但对如何避免放射性污染、保护医护人员安全、保证放射源安全等方面的报道较少。我院2004年1月—2006年11月,对21例患者进行了~(125)Ⅰ粒子组织间植入手术,未发生放射粒子的裸露、缺损、脱落与外逸,取得了满意的效果,报告如下。
The diameter of ~ (125) Ⅰ particles was 0.8mm, the energy was 27.4 ~ 35.4keV (average 31.4 keV), the range of radioactivity was 0.1 ~ 1.0mCi, the interstitial diameter was 1.7cm and the half-life was 59.6d. The release of γ-rays, the tumor tissue to accept the maximum sustained exposure, and normal tissue damage around the tumor is very small. Reported in the literature of particle implantation in the treatment of tumor local control rate is high, the incidence of complications is low, can improve the survival rate of cancer patients and quality of life. The therapeutic effect of ~ (125) Ⅰ particles in cancer patients has been clinically confirmed, and a large number of studies have been reported. However, there are few reports on how to avoid radioactive pollution, protect the safety of medical personnel and ensure the safety of radioactive sources. In our hospital, from January 2004 to November 2006, 21 patients were treated with ~ (125) Ⅰ particle implantation without any exposure, defect, shedding and escape of radioactive particles, and achieved satisfactory results.
