为进一步明确白亮带形成机理,通过开展连铸工艺对比试验,对白亮带铸坯进行偏析及凝固组织检验,在此基础上对凝固末端电磁搅拌及凝固末端压下工艺对铸坯白亮带形成的影响作用进行分析。最终从工艺条件对连铸坯凝固组织影响的角度提出白亮带的本质及其形成机理,得出白亮带的本质为致密晶杆组织,具体组织类型决定于电磁搅拌具体安装位置,形成机理为外加力场作用导致白亮带区域凝固组织致密性明显高于其附近区域,致密的低溶质浓度晶杆组织经过酸洗腐蚀以后即呈现出白亮特征,即白亮带。
