人们在用电泳方法鉴定西瓜品种方面,已经进行了不少研究。Zamir(1984)用12种同工酶电泳分析12个西瓜品种,没有看到其多态性。Biles(1989)用7种同工酶研究了6个西瓜品种的酶谱,也没发现这些酶谱的多态性。张兴平(1989)用过氧化物酶和酯酶同工酶电泳分析了10个杂种一代和16个亲本材料,发现几种杂交种酶谱类型,为杂交一代的纯度分析提供了有益的资料。但是,在他的研究结果中,用干种子进行分析仍是一件不能奏效的事情。张玉秀(1991)用 SDS—PAGE 电泳分析了瓜类种子的蛋白组分,为葫芦科分类提供了分子生物学方面的依据。但文章中没有报道西瓜品种种子的多态性。本研究的目的是要探讨西瓜品种种子蛋白的多态性,为用电泳进行西瓜品种鉴定与纯度分析提供基本前提。
Many people have carried out a lot of research on the identification of watermelon varieties by electrophoresis. Zamir (1984) analyzed 12 watermelon cultivars with 12 isozymes, and no polymorphism was observed. Biles (1989) studied the zymogram of six watermelon cultivars with seven isozymes and found no polymorphisms in these zymograms. Zhang Xingping (1989) peroxidase and esterase isozyme electrophoresis analysis of 10 hybrids and 16 parents of the material, found several hybrids zymogram types, for the purity of hybrids provide useful information. However, in his findings, analyzing with dry seeds is still not a valid one. Zhang Yu-xiu (1991) analyzed the protein components of melon seeds by SDS-PAGE electrophoresis, which provided molecular biology basis for Cucurbitaceae classification. However, the article does not report the polymorphism of seeds of watermelon varieties. The purpose of this study is to explore the polymorphism of seed protein of watermelon varieties, and to provide the basic precondition for the identification and purity analysis of watermelon varieties by electrophoresis.
