恩格斯的《英国工人阶级状况》对英国工业化、城市化进程中的环境污染问题进行了详细记录和分析,对于今天经济发展过程中正确处理人与自然的关系具有重要的启迪意义。工人的工作和生活环境恶劣,水污染、空气污染严重。工业化、城市化、资本扩张的逻辑以及爱尔兰人的不良生活习惯都是造成环境恶化的重要原因。合理规划城市布局,树立科学发展理念,培育良好国民素质是我们应该从中得到的重要启示。
Engels’s “Working-class Situation in England” has a detailed record and analysis of the environmental pollution problems in the process of industrialization and urbanization in the United Kingdom. It is of great enlightenment for the correct handling of the relationship between man and nature in today’s economic development. The working and living environment of workers is harsh, water pollution and air pollution are serious. The industrialization, urbanization, logic of capital expansion, and Irish lifestyle are all important reasons for the deterioration of the environment. It is an important enlightenment that we should get from reasonably planning the city layout, establishing the scientific development concept and cultivating a good national quality.
