Different germ line mice have different sensitivities to Leishmania major. Sensitive strain BALB / c mice developed severe non-self-healing pathological lesions after infection with Leishmania major, while non-sensitive mice such as C3H, CBA / J and C57BL / 6 developed mild lesions and were self-healing. Some scholars think that the mechanism is that the sensitive rat immunized against Leishmania major is Th2 type
