神岗镇位于从化市南部,距市中心8公里,距广州市区48公里,面积84平方公里,人口4万。矿产资源丰富,有黄金、石英石、钴、锡等。盛产荔枝、柑橙、蔬菜,是著名的“荔枝之乡。”改革开放以来,神岗镇人民解放思想,把握机遇,真抓实干。目前,全镇有18家中外合作企业,初步形成以饮料、制鞋、食品加工为支柱的工业体系;农业向“三高”方向迈出了新的步子,已成为广州市二线蔬菜定点生产基地。1993年,全镇工农业总产值近2亿元,其中工业产值1.1
