The 3rd National Construction Coatings Technology Exchange Conference convened by the National Construction Workers Information Network Chemical Building Materials Professional Group was held in Hongjiang City, Hunan Province from May 11 to May 17, 1985. More than 200 representatives from nearly 140 scientific research and production units from 25 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across the country attended the conference. At the meeting, the delegates mainly discussed the draft of the draft standard for polyvinyl-alcohol water glass interior wall paint (second draft) formulated by the National Building Material Bureau. This is the first time China has issued a standard for the formulation of architectural coatings.
