Oro (Brassica oleracea) is a low-eruid canola that was introduced from Canada in 1976. The Shanxi Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences in 1976-1978 had more plantations in different parts of the province to observe its regional adaptability and production performance. Results of the trial planting showed that the yield in Hirakawa Prefecture in central Shanxi was slightly lower than the varieties of spring cabbage - Mengyou 3 and No.1 in No. The growth period is about 110 days, which is used to waste land and light and heat resources once a year; if used for one year and two crops, the subsequent crop can not mature. The spring sowing in the suburbs of Datong City of Yanbei performed better with a yield of 150-200 kg per mu. However, due to the need of more water for fertilizer and the fight against food crops,
