理论与仿真研究了基于有源光纤环形腔内相位调制的能提供多个光载毫米波的光源设计与特性。通过光相位调制指数,输出/输出耦合器的耦合系数,腔的环程净损耗和带通滤波器带宽的最佳均衡设计,获得了48个具有较好幅值均匀性的40GHz光载毫米波。光载毫米波相位噪声影响的分析结果显示:当输入激光线宽小于100kHz,腔长小于4m时,毫米波信号的频宽可小于100Hz。给出了调制电压,光放大器增益和腔长的扰动与光载毫米波幅值稳定性之间的定量关系。
Theory and Simulation The design and characteristics of a light source capable of providing multiple MMW waves based on the phase modulation of an active fiber ring cavity are studied. Through the optical phase modulation index, the coupling coefficient of the output / output coupler, the ring net loss of the cavity and the optimal balanced design of the bandwidth of the band-pass filter, 48 40GHz optical carrier millimeter waves with better amplitude uniformity . The results of the analysis of the effects of the optical millimeter-wave phase noise show that when the input laser linewidth is less than 100 kHz and the cavity length is less than 4 m, the bandwidth of the millimeter-wave signal can be less than 100 Hz. The quantitative relationship between the modulation voltage, the gain of the optical amplifier and the cavity length and the stability of the optical millimeter-wave amplitude is given.
