传闻许久的国家存储器战略方案最终定案。3月28日,国家存储器基地项目在武汉东湖高新区正式启动。据悉,该基地建设包括芯片制造、产业链配套等,将在5年内投资240亿美元(约1600亿人民币),预计到2020年形成月产30万片的生产规模。这不仅是国家发展集成电路产业的重大战略部署,亦刷新了湖北有史以来产业投资额的新纪录。在当天的项目启动现场,湖北省委书记李鸿忠宣布项目启动。工信部副部长怀进鹏以及科技部、发改委、财政部等国家部委领导,以及湖北省委常委、武汉市委书记阮成发出席项目启动仪式并致辞。启动仪式由湖北省委常委、常务副省长王晓东主持。

On the day the project started, Hubei Provincial Party Committee Secretary Li Hongzhong announced the project started. Vice Minister of MIIT Huai Jinpeng and heads of state ministries and commissions such as Ministry of Science and Technology, Development and Reform Commission and Ministry of Finance, as well as Ruan Chengfa, member of Standing Committee of Hubei Provincial Party Committee and secretary of Wuhan Municipal Party Committee, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. The ceremony was presided over by Wang Xiaodong, standing member of Hubei Provincial Party Committee and executive vice governor.
