正电子发射断层扫描(PET)是一种能够反映组织代谢功能的影像技术,已成为肿瘤研究的重要方法。PET在脑膜瘤诊断中常用糖类、氨基酸等代谢物类显像剂以及受体类显像剂。不同显像剂能从不同方面反映脑膜瘤的代谢功能,而脑膜瘤的增殖性与其功能改变密切相关。因此PET能无创地反映脑膜瘤生物学行为特点。临床上PET用于脑膜瘤与其他颅内肿瘤鉴别诊断以及脑膜瘤疗效评价,显示其作为功能影像技术的优势。
Positron emission tomography (PET), an imaging technique that can reflect the function of tissue metabolism, has become an important method of tumor research. PET in the diagnosis of meningioma commonly used carbohydrates, amino acids and other metabolites imaging agents and receptor imaging agents. Different imaging agents can reflect the metabolic function of meningiomas in different aspects, while the proliferation of meningiomas is closely related to their functional changes. Therefore, PET can noninvasively reflect the biological behavior of meningioma. Clinically, PET is used to differentiate meningiomas from other intracranial tumors and evaluate the efficacy of meningioma, which shows its advantages as a functional imaging technique.
