今年秋,中国农业科学院传出喜讯:我国首次人工合成杀虫基因并导入棉花获得成功,这是我国在生物技术研究方面的一个重大突破。棉花是我国的主要经济作物之一,近年来由于我国北方棉区棉铃虫猖獗,棉花生产受到严重影响,棉农种棉积极性受挫,棉花面积锐减,选育抗虫棉种已成为我国棉花育种工作者的主攻方向。为此,国家将“抗虫转基因棉花研究”项目列入“863”高新技术研究和发展计划,力求从生物技术的角度解决棉铃虫的危害。中国农科院生
