The carnival spirit in the “Dream of Red Mansions” reflected in the abound. This article will discuss the carnival spirit of “Dream of the Red Chamber” from three aspects: the life path taken by Jia Baoyu and Lin Daiyu; the question about the fate of women; Jia Baoyu proposes the principle of non-hierarchical, equal, benevolent and sincere selflessness in interpersonal relations .
