In recent years, in order to speed up the coal transportation outside Shanxi Province and promote the economic development in Shaanxi Province, Datong Branch of Shanxi Provincial Coal Transportation and Distribution Corporation, in recent years, has made pioneering and enterprising innovations based on railway transportation, road transportation and settlement of coal special funds. As of January-September this year, the company completed 16,989,900 tons of coal shipped by railways, accounting for 97.08% of the total planned monthly; 244,400 tons more than the same period of previous year, an increase of 1.46%. The road transportation of coal to the province was completed at 3.0367 million tons and the toll collection of highway coal was 94.5 million yuan, a 2.5-fold increase over the amount collected in the previous year.
