Professor A.P.Sage, a famous American system engineer, published a systematic project monograph “Systems Engineering” (hereinafter referred to as “S”) in 1992, and I would be happy to recommend it to Chinese readers. In the author’s opinion, the systematic system of system engineering has started to enter the middle stage of growth and development after its period of gestation from the 30s to the 40s, the initial period from the 1950s to the 1960s, and the initial stage of growth and development from the 1970s to the 1980s.
