On May 8, President Xi Jinping met with President Putin during Moscow’s parade to mark the 70th anniversary of Russia’s victory in World War II and witnessed the signing of a series of cooperation agreements between China and Russia on energy, transportation, spaceflight and finance. Energy is the focus of cooperation between the two sides, and Russia formally approved the supply of natural gas to China through the natural gas transmission pipeline between China and Russia. China and Russia will work together to establish a financing platform set up jointly by the Russian Government Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), China-Russia Investment Fund (RCIF) and China Construction Bank; a lease platform will be set up to sell the Russian-made Sukhoi Super 100 feeder to China and Asia Aircraft, will be common
