一、古煤矿遗址的位置及布局禹县位于河南省中部,是个半山区。县西部与北部为伏牛山余脉,山峦起伏,矿藏丰富。闻名于世的钧瓷故乡神壁镇,位于禹县境内西南隅,群山环抱,距县城30公里。在神垕镇东北方约2公里处,有一座个体开采的小煤矿,叫梨园煤矿。该矿所在的位置,正是一处北宋古煤矿遗址(图一)。在1973年,翟村群众在村西开挖大口水井时,因破土动工修筑引水渠,使古煤矿有瓷片的文化层露出。1975年和1976年,我和
