四月的杭州,细雨霏霏.记录赵延年先生八十历程和从艺六十余载的展览.就在西湖边的美术馆展出,观后给人一种荡气回肠之感。我从1959年入浙江美院版画系学习,1978年又返校就读研究生,赵先生均为我的指导老师,对他的作品和创作过程都比较熟悉。清代美学的代表人物之一——叶燮,在其著作《原诗》中对艺术家的创造活动归结为“才”、“胆”、“识”、“力”.并说:“大凡人无才则心思不出,无胆则笔墨畏缩,无识则不能取舍.无力则不能自成一家。”我觉得叶燮之说颇能概括赵先生所走的艺术之路。
