“中国工艺美术学会民间工艺美术委员会第22届年会暨日照现代民间绘画研讨会”在日照的召开,引来了全国各地的民间工艺美术专家、艺术家一百六十余人。用一位组委会成员的话讲,“民间工艺美术专业委员会是隶属于中国工艺美术学会的国家二级学会,没有编制,没有经费,甚至没有一个固定的办公地点。”然而,就是这样的一个机构,却将这样一个全国民间工艺美术的盛会坚持办了下来,这一办就是22年。这里面有院校专家的指导,有各级政府的支持,还有各地民间艺术家的积极参与。但不容忽略的是,扎根于民间的工艺美术是最贴近广大人民群众的艺术形式之一,群众基础广泛,因而才会有这么旺盛的生命力,这旺盛的生命力会随着时代、社会的进步而不断丰富、完善。这就需要更多学术的眼光聚焦在民间的艺术形式上,愿有更多的有识之士关注民间工艺美术,关注本民族的艺术表现形式。
